BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE 2008 KIDFEST:
The Georgina Cares booth at Kidfest 2008!
There were activities and program information both inside the Ice Palace, and outside, and demonstration events held in the Georgina Gym.
There were interactive sessions and "hands-on" activities throughout the event.
And what would an event be without face-painting?!
Our friends and supporters at the Georgina Fire Department helped us out again by bringing their ladder truck to the event so kids could see the workings of this impressive piece of life-saving technology!
So too, our friends at York Region Police Services helped out by letting the kids see the impressive array of crime-fighting technology in a modern cruiser. Hey kids, these are the only seats you want to sit in in a cruiser!
Once again, our volunteers make the event happen. Thank you everyone!
