BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE 2007 TELEVISION AUCTION:

Georgina Mayor Rob Grossi and Ashaw Noorhasen sell the all-day items.

Nicole Godfrey and Rogers Television host Fil Martino, report on the bids.

While Julia Suppa models the bracelet, Paul Nicholls talks it up.

The Town of Newmarket graciously lets us use their council chamber and telephone system to use as our "Call Centre".  Our dedicated group of volunteers handles all incoming calls.  This year they handled over 2,500 calls in the 6-hour telethon.

As the bids are called in, they are noted and loaded on the "Bid Board" - telling the operators the standing bid on any item.  Callers can watch the show to see what's going on as well.

Several times during the auction, a "live-from-the-floor" hit is done to keep the "buzz" going.

Jennifer Anderson checks in with behind-the-scenes lot organizer Dave Muir.

Sisters-in-law Nonna and Jennifer Anderson work the call centre.

The winning lots get entered into the computer and are verified.  Board members Joe Smyth and Darlene Carson-Hildebrand get the job done!

How the heck did this happen?  Three J's!

Rob Grossi's daughter Jaclyn, the Director of the show, Jim Anderson, and his wife, Jennifer Anderson.
